Surrendering Your Turtle
There are many reasons why individuals and families may need to find a new home
for their turtle. Maybe the maintenance has become too much, maybe there is a big
move coming up - no matter the reason, we are here to help. With the payment of a
modest Surrendering Fee, we will provide that new lifetime home here at ‘The Villa’
until such time as a new, quality-ensured home may be found. All turtles are
considered permanent residents until adoption. While here, your turtle will receive
exceptional care with fabulous meals and an enormous, co-ed recreation area to be
that natural and happy turtle in. For your convenienc, we offer a choice in the fee
you will provide to ensure your turtle’s lifetime care.
1) Surrender With Equipment. Fee - $50.00 plus tax with all
equipment you currently use in the care for your turtle, including
aquarium, filters, floaty dock, heater etc provided with your
surrendered turtle. This is our preferred fee as the equipment
portion will aid us in rehoming efforts while the cash portion helps
with feed and maintenance costs for The Villa.
2) Surrender Without Equipment Fee - $100.00 plus tax without
anything but your turtle surrendered to us.

We will immediately contact you to arrange a time to bring your
turtle to us. Urgent and Emergency Surrenders or those that are
time-sensitive should text or call us immediately. Low income
applicants should call us for elegible fee reductions. Please make
